Reflection: In today's classroom teachers need to find ways to meet learners in other ways besides the traditional classroom style. With technology today teachers can teach their students in more ways beside lecture and take notes. To meet the requirements of this standard I chose my projects on the student survey and my rubric on Rubistar. My survey and rubric show that I can create assessments to give my students. Assessments are important because they help gage where your students are in regards to understanding the curriculum I have been teaching my students. I also felt that my movie project covered this standard because my movie shows that I can be creative and help meet the needs of all of my students in my classroom.
Future Learning Goals: I will continue to strive to become a better creator of activities that my students can participate in to understand the curriculum. I will rely on my peers, professional development sessions, and online resources to continue to grow in my creation of assessments for my students in my classroom. I will also continue to learn new ways to reach all of my students learning styles through different forms of differentiated instruction.
