Reflection: Teachers need to be able to provide comfort to their students when using technology. Teachers need to be able to show students how to use all programs and technological devices they will need to use in the classroom. I chose to have my ScoopIt project, because it allows for myself or my students to create a page and add peer reviewed journals or news articles that relate to the topic given. ScoopIt is a safe and legal way to use other's information, and it provides my students with a plethora of sources. I chose my Google presentation project, because it allows for my students to collaborate with one another while they work on an assignment. Students can work on Google Slides from various locations as long as they have internet and a computer or laptop. I chose my movie project because it also represents a way to use technology in a safe and legal way.
Future Learning Goal: I want to continue to find new ways to find online learning tools that allow my students to collaborate with one another. I will continue to search for these tools rather it is through professional development courses, or through my higher learning program in the future as I pursue my PHD.
