Reflection: I agree that it is important for teachers to constantly grow, professional development is a great place to start. Technology is ever-changing and making a huge impact in the classroom, this trend will only continue to grow as time goes on. I chose my Padlet project for this standard because it is a creative online tool that allows my students to improve their learning. I also chose Quizizz. Quizizz is a great website that allows students to participate in a quiz type game amongst their peers. Students love to compete against one another, education can be fun, you just have to find the right tools to help make it so. Students can be paid with a partner or at least they will in my room, to play Quizizz. By having a partner my students will be interacting with one another, developing leadership skills, and participating in peer tutoring.
Future Learning Goals: I want to be able to grow as a teacher, I believe the day you stop pushing yourself to become better is probably the day you should quit. I think that is acceptable with anything that you do. People should never settle once they feel like they got to where they wanted to be, you should keep pushing yourself to learn and grow. There are many ways that I can continue to grow as an educator, but I want to continue to develop my leadership skills in the classroom. I will continue to seek aid from my peers as problems arise that I'm not sure how to handle.
